The Art of Grieving

Mar 2, 2025 - Mar 18, 2025

Grief is the heart’s response to any kind of loss, and one of the most difficult things in life to process. Grief can be mislabeled as anger, sadness, or depression, which we often bury instead of bringing to God. But scripture teaches that lament is not just allowed—it is essential to our well-being. Throughout his word, we see God using grief as the pathway to hope and healing.

Jesus never turned away from grief; he met people in their pain, dignified their suffering, and carried them through it. He does the same for us today, through the comfort and encouragement of the Holy Spirit.

As we learn The Art of Grieving, we’ll embrace loss with hope, walk together in sorrow, and discover how even in the broken places, God is near.
