This message from 2 Chronicles 26 explores the life of King Uzziah and the subtle danger of pride. Though Uzziah experienced remarkable success, his story reminds us that spiritual strength is sustained not by achievement but by humility and continued dependence on God.
Pride can quietly shape our attitudes and decisions, leading us to trust ourselves more than the Lord and resist the wisdom of those who seek to guide us. Uzziah’s downfall serves as a warning that success without humility can damage our relationships, weaken our faith, and distance us from God’s purposes.
This message calls us to pursue humility by remaining rooted in God’s Word and open to wise, godly counsel. As we follow the example of Christ, whose humility led him to the cross, we discover the freedom and wisdom that come from surrendering our lives fully to God.
