This message invites us to live in the reality of the resurrection as a present, transforming power. In John 20, the disciples move from fear behind locked doors to overwhelming joy when the risen Jesus appears and speaks peace over them.
We are reminded that Christian joy is not based on circumstances, but on the unchanging truth of who Christ is and what He has done. Because He is risen, we can live with confidence, even in uncertainty, trusting in God’s ultimate victory.
This joy is not meant to stay with us — it sends us. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are called to carry the message of forgiveness and new life into the world. As we step out in faith, God provides direction and clarity, inviting us to embrace the mission He has given us with courage and obedience.
