Serve Globally

Mission Trips

On a PCBC mission trip, you can expect to actively live out your faith.

This guarantees that the work you engage in is genuinely necessary to aid their communities and is already proven to be effective and supported locally. This approach also promotes sustainability and prevents creating dependency. Get a glimpse into how your willingness to serve creates a lasting impact by watching the video below.

When you embark on a mission trip, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in new cultures and ideas in ways that typical trips don’t offer. Individuals participate in mission trips for various reasons, whether it’s for personal growth, community impact, or to gain insights beyond their everyday experiences.

  1. Personal development through the practical demonstration of faith
  2. Fresh perspectives from collaborating with individuals of diverse cultures
  3. Novel experiences and activities
  4. A broadened worldview

Participating in a mission trip benefits not only the communities you assist, but it also has a profound impact on you. It will transform and mold you in ways that nothing else can. Your contributions, whether in physical tasks like construction or in showing love and compassion to people in different parts of the world, will result in tangible and meaningful changes to both individuals and communities.

Mission Trips

In South Texas, we collaborate with our many mission partners in the Rio Grande Valley to bless the community. By joining one of our many mission trips, you will engage in activities such as building beds for families, hosting BSM nights for college students, serving at the local food bank, praying and worshiping with believers in the RGV, and playing games with families.

There is no fee required for PCBC South Texas mission trips. Each person is responsible for their own transportation, accommodations, and meals.

Global Mission Partners, by country

Our global mission partners extend the ministry of PCBC. We support ministries across the world who plant churches, meet medical needs, mentor and train pastors, host camps for kids, and supply food and humanitarian supplies to those in need – all centered on our mission to lead all generations to love Jesus.

Guatemala

Potter’s House seeks to deliver holistic development programs through their community centers. From physical to spiritual to mental transformation, they want to empower the poor across Guatemala to make significant changes in their own lives and their communities.

Teams can go to serve in the following ways:

  • Medical/dental
  • VBS
  • Construction of homes/hygiene units
  • Professional teacher training

Kenya

African Christian Outreach
African Christian Outreach has several ministries that engage people with the gospel, equip them through discipleship, and empower them with life-on-life experiences.

Lighthouse for Christ
Lighthouse for Christ exists to glorify God by healing physical and spiritual blindness in East Africa.

Our Kenya team performs hundreds of eye surgeries to restore sight through corneal transplants, as well as hosting teaching conferences to prepare village pastors to lead their congregations.

Peru

Park Cities Baptist Church is launching a new global mission partnership in Peru with Orphan Outreach, a ministry dedicated to serving orphaned and vulnerable children through Christ-centered care.

At PCBC, we believe global missions are effective when we partner with trusted local ministries who are already making a difference. Through this partnership, we come alongside Orphan Outreach as they establish work in Peru, supporting efforts that address the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of orphaned children.

Peru is home to a significant number of children facing poverty, limited access to education, and family instability. In response, Orphan Outreach serves vulnerable children by providing holistic care and investing in long-term solutions that restore hope and build a foundation for a thriving future.

Through this partnership, PCBC members will have opportunities to:

  • Serve alongside local ministry leaders in meaningful, sustainable ways
  • Invest in the lives of children through relational ministry
  • Experience cultural immersion while living out their faith
  • Support ongoing work that leads to lasting gospel impact

Mission teams will work directly with Orphan Outreach programs in Peru — including ministry to children and young adults, coming out of the foster care system. These efforts are designed to strengthen local systems of care and point individuals to the hope found in Jesus Christ.

As we step into this new partnership, we are trusting God to use PCBC to help bring restoration, stability, and the love of Christ to children and families in the Cusco, Peru area.

United Kingdom

Park Cities Baptist Church is honored to partner with Greater European Mission to expand gospel impact throughout the United Kingdom.

Through this new partnership, PCBC joins ongoing efforts to strengthen churches, equip leaders, and engage communities with the hope of Christ. This includes sending teams to serve alongside ministry leaders in the UK in meaningful and strategic ways.

Join us as we live out our faith globally — encouraging the Church, building relationships, and helping share the gospel across Europe.

Caribbean

PCBC financially supports five local churches in strategic areas and sends two teams annually to conduct a Youth Camp and VBS.

Asia

PCBC is active in three countries in Asia through church planting and humanitarian aid. The exact names and locations of ministries are withheld to preserve the safety of those risking their lives to share about Jesus.
