Revelation 22:1-5

What Will We Do in Heaven?

May 11, 2025 by Dr. Jeff Warren

In this message, we’re invited to reimagine our eternal future with God. Drawing from Revelation 22:1-5, we’re presented with a vivid picture of the New Jerusalem, where the river of life flows from God’s throne and the tree of life bears fruit for all nations. This imagery, echoing Ezekiel’s vision, symbolizes the healing and wholeness we’ll experience in God’s presence. The message challenges us to find satisfaction in God alone, both now and in eternity. We’re reminded that in heaven, we’ll be free from striving, comparison, and the need to justify ourselves. This gives us a profound invitation to live differently today, finding our identity and peace in Christ rather than worldly pursuits. As we contemplate this future reality, we’re encouraged to cultivate deeper relationships, confront our sins, and serve others with pure motives, knowing that one day we’ll see God face to face.
