We Believe: A Deep Dive — Discipleship Is Learning to Follow Jesus Every Day

Join us this fall for We Believe: A Deep Dive, a special Wednesday night series led by Pastor Jeff Warren alongside guest scholars, theologians and professors as we explore the biblical truths and Baptist distinctives that have shaped the church for generations. Each evening concludes with a conversation and audience Q&A, offering practical insight into how these truths inform our everyday lives.
Our final session focuses on one of the most important questions every Christian can ask: What does it actually mean to follow Jesus every day?
Join us as discipleship expert Rick Howerton shares a compelling vision for making disciples who make disciples. Rick will explore why biblical discipleship is essential to both the Kingdom of God and the health of the local church, offering practical insight into how spiritual growth happens through intentional relationships, authentic small group community and a daily rhythm in God’s Word through DWELL.
Following Rick’s teaching, Keith Lowry and Caleb Rhoades will join him for a conversation about PCBC’s disciple-making strategy, highlighting how our church is intentionally equipping every believer to grow as a disciple of Jesus and become someone who helps others follow Christ. Together, they’ll explore practical next steps for living out the mission of making disciples in everyday life.
