1 Peter 4:7-11

Service

February 23, 2025 by Dr. Jeff Warren

In this last message of our Resolutions series, we’re called to serve with urgency, integrity, generosity, and uniqueness. Drawing from 1 Peter 4:7-11, we’re reminded that ‘the end of all things is at hand,’ urging us to live with a sense of readiness and purpose. This isn’t about fear, but about recognizing the brevity of life and the importance of our stewardship. We’re challenged to show radical hospitality, especially to strangers and those different from us, reflecting Christ’s love in a divided world. The message beautifully connects our identity as ‘exiles’ in this world to our calling to serve others, even in difficult circumstances. It’s a powerful reminder that our joy and purpose are found not in self-absorption, but in selfless service, using our God-given gifts to glorify Him.
