Join women of all ages for a meaningful morning of worship, biblical teaching, prayer, and creative reflection as we explore how the Psalms can deepen our relationship with God and give language to our conversations with him.

For generations, the Psalms have served as God’s songbook and prayer book — giving voice to every season of life: joy, gratitude, sorrow, fear, repentance, and hope. Through teaching and guided reflection, you’ll discover practical ways to pray Scripture and respond to God through writing or visual art. Whether you connect most deeply through music, prayer, or creativity, this event offers space to draw near to the Lord and experience him through the Psalms in a fresh way.

This gathering is for women of all generations — from middle school and up — so bring your daughters, your mothers, your friends, and come experience the language of the heart through the Psalms.

Teaching will be led by Lenette Lindsey, along with special guests Christine Crawford, writer, poet, and host of The Holy Shift Show podcast, and Christine Switzer, poet, author, and teacher. Worship will be led by The Worship Initiative.

Registration is $10 and includes a light breakfast and a journal to take home.
Registration deadline: Wednesday, September 23.
Childcare is available for $10 per child.

MEET THE WORSHIP TEAM

Jessica Lackey serves on the worship staff at Highland Baptist Church in Waco, Texas, and partners with ministries including Breakaway at Texas A&M and The Worship Initiative. Elisabeth Reid, a Dallas-based wedding photographer, serves as a keys player at Watermark. The two met at Baylor and share a passion for leading women in worship. They are excited to join us as we lift high the name of Jesus through the Psalms.

MEET THE SPEAKERS

Christine Crawford is a poet and the founder of The Holy Shift ministry. She holds 1.5 master’s degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary and advanced training in trauma recovery. Her work centers on guiding people in soul care and spiritual formation practices that help them connect deeply with God, themselves, and others.

Christine Switzer is a storyteller and poet with a heart for creating literary art and community spaces where people can encounter Jesus and His invitation to grow and flourish. Through writing workshops, she encourages people in everyday creative practice, as she believes engaging creatively with our stories and our world can transform our lives and our communities.

Lenette Lindsey is our Women’s Minister here at PCBC. She is a Bible teacher, writer, and speaker who deeply loves Jesus and people. Lenette is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and is passionate about God’s Word and faithfully passing it on to this generation and the next. She loves encouraging women and equipping them to hold fast to the truth of God’s Word.
