Park Cities Baptist Church (“Park Cities Baptist Church”, “PCBC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) recognizes the importance of privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information that you provide to us. In this Privacy Policy, we describe how we collect, use, and disclose information that we obtain about visitors to our website, pcbc.org, and/or our app (the “Site”) and users of the services available through our Site (the Site, and services available through it, are hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Services”).

• Information We Collect Directly from You. We may collect information about you directly from you. For example, if you make a donation through our Site, we will collect your name, email address, phone number, address, and payment card information. We will also collect any other information that you provide to us through our Services, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message if you contact Park Cities Baptist Church through our Site.
• Information We Collect Automatically. We automatically collect information about you through your use of our Services, including, without limitation IP address, location, browser type, domain name, the website that led you to our Services, the website to which you go after leaving our Services, the dates and times you access our Services, device ID, and activities within our Services (e.g., links you click, searches you run, etc.). We or our service providers use cookies and other tracking mechanisms to track information about how you use our Services. We or our service providers may combine this information with other information, including personal information, we collect about you.

These links are provided to you for convenience purposed only and you access them at your own risk. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about those sites.

Security

We have taken steps to help protect the personal information we collect. However, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security. You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your device and account by, among other things, choosing a robust password that nobody else knows or can easily guess and keeping your log-in and password private.

Your Choices

Updating or Deleting Personal Information. You may correct or delete the personal information that you provide to us by logging into your account to update your personal information or emailing us at inquiries@pcbc.org and describing your request to delete your personal information. Please note that we may retain certain information about you as required by law or as permitted by law for legitimate business purposes (e.g., in accordance with our record retention policies).

• Opting out of Email Communications. We may send periodic promotional or informational emails to you. You may opt-out of such communications by following the opt-out instructions contained in the email or contacting us at inquiries@pcbc.org. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for us to process opt-out requests. If you opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us, we may still send you non-promotional emails (e.g., about your donations).

Children

Our Services are not targeted to children under thirteen (13) years of age. While we may collect information about children from parents or others, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete such personal information from our systems.

SMS Policy

By subscribing, you have provided us with consent to send you text messages regarding Park Cities Baptist Church alerts, event reminders, new content, and requests for volunteer and financial support. Message frequency varies by events/preference. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undeliverable messages. If your phone does not support MMS, you’ll receive SMS instead.

OPT-OUT OR STOP

If you wish to stop receiving text messages from Park Cities Baptist Church, reply to any text message from 74899 and in the reply, text STOP. You may also stop text messages by calling us at 214-860-1500 or emailing us at  inquiries@pcbc.org

HELP OR SUPPORT

If at any time you need our contact information on how to stop text messages, reply to any text message from 74899 and in the reply, text HELP. Upon receiving your text message, we will send you a text message with our contact information. In general, the messages we send provide you with information about our upcoming events, new content, and other announcements. Some of the text messages we send may include links to websites. To access these websites, you will need a web browser and internet access.
