Everyday Love
On the last Sunday of Advent, we explored the concept of Christianity as a ‘brand’ and what that means for our faith. The central theme revolves around John 13:34-35, where Jesus gives a new commandment: to love one another as He has loved us. This isn’t just any love, but a radical, selfless love that sets Christianity apart. We’re challenged to consider: what do people think of when they see us? Are we truly embodying Christ’s love? The message emphasizes that our love for one another is the ultimate witness to the world, more powerful than any words or beliefs. It’s a call to action, urging us to intentionally love others in our daily lives, just as Christ loved us. This transformative love isn’t easy—it requires dying to ourselves, just as Jesus died on the cross for us. As we approach this Christmas season, let’s reflect on how we can make love our ‘brand,’ allowing Christ’s love to shine through us and draw others to Him.
