Every Day, All Year Long
In this exploration of John 2:1-11, we’re invited to anticipate Jesus surprising us in the coming year. The story of Jesus turning water into wine at the wedding in Cana isn’t just about a miraculous transformation, but about how our relationship with Christ must evolve. We’re challenged to expect a change in how we interact with God, moving beyond comfortable patterns to a deeper, more mature faith. Just as Jesus lovingly redefined His relationship with Mary, He may push us out of our spiritual comfort zones for our growth. This message encourages us to persist in prayer and obedience, even when God’s responses seem unexpected or delayed. It’s a call to trust in God’s timing and methods, recognizing that our relationship with Him is dynamic, not static. As we enter the new year, let’s approach our faith with openness to change and a willingness to follow Christ, no matter where He leads.
