About PCBC Kids

PCBC Kids exists to equip and empower kids to have authentic and active faith.

Kids are invited to explore God’s truths through biblically based lessons that they can lean on all through their life.

We encourage 4th and 5th graders to attend worship service one hour and spend the other hour with their age-based Connect Group. We offer two Connect Groups for our 1st-3rd graders with varying learning environments that engage kids in different ways. See more details about each hour below.

Connect Groups allow kids to be engaged in different Bible stories and learning styles alongside kids in their age group.

At both Kids Connect hours, activities and lessons are centered around connecting relationally with leaders and friends. This includes:

sharing about their week
learning applications from the Bible lesson
discussing real-life experiences
interacting with a close-knit group of peers
participating in a variety of activities that appeal to different learning styles

As part of 9:30 a.m. Kids Connect, children will learn how to navigate the Bible, apply its stories in their lives, and memorize verses from the lessons. At 10:45 a.m. Kids Connect, children will cultivate relationships with their peers and leaders at their age-based table groups, talking about what they’ve learned from God’s Word.

Wednesdays at PCBC Kids

On Wednesday evenings from September-April, GROW Kids is where 1st-5th graders come to participate in Music, Missions, and Movement on Wednesday evenings from September-April! It’s the best place for midweek fun, friendship, and learning about our mission partners in our community. We’ll also be doing a monthly service project together. You don’t want to miss it!

Child Baptisms

As your child expresses their desire to follow Christ and be baptized, please complete the form below to set up a family visit with the Kids Ministry Team. Quarterly New Christian Classes are offered as an opportunity for children interested in baptism or those who have made a profession of faith. Kids will learn to share the gospel and their testimony, as well as important faith concepts and the process of baptism.

Curriculum Information

9:30 CONNECT

At 9:30, children will be utilizing Bible studies for life to learn more about navigating the Bible, Bible stories, and memory verses.

10:45 CONNECT

1st-3rd: Utilizing Hyfi by Lifeway, 1st-3rd graders will have a large group component in the middle of the small group table time which will include a Bible story, gospel presentation, and worship elements.
