We are excited to welcome authors, Minister LaJuana R. Sherman and Professor Cheryl Wattley as our guest speakers. Join us for breakfast and fellowship, followed by a breakout session with one of our inspirational authors. No homework or outside reading is required prior to the event! Books will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
Faithfully Yours, a ministry of Concord and Park Cities Baptist Church, was created to bring women from these churches together to build relationships and deepen their faith journeys through reading.

As the leader of the “Fresh Manna” Small Group Bible Study, she has served many years in Women’s ministry at the Concord Church in Dallas, Texas. A regular blogger, and the author of this reimagined story of the Woman at the Well, LaJuana enjoys counseling, reading, and watching classic movies, westerns, and HGTV in her spare time.
- Cheryl Brown Wattley – Desire to Serve: The Autobiography of Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson
A professor of law at the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law, she received her juris doctorate degree from Boston University College of Law and is the author of A Step toward Brown v. Board of Education: Ada Lois Sipuel Fisher and Her Fight to End Segregation.
