You’re invited to a festive and elegant evening of music, dinner, and holiday cheer — open to all adults, both members and guests.
Enjoy a delicious dinner followed by “An Evening with Max J. Swarner,” accompanied by musical director Vonda K. Bowling. The concert will feature a delightful mix of Golden Age to Contemporary Broadway classics, along with a few Christmas standards to celebrate the season.

About Max J. Swarner
Hailed by critics as “possessing one of the most beautiful male voices ever heard in musical theatre today,” award-winning singer, actor, and Dallas theater icon Max J. Swarner is thrilled to share this evening of music and storytelling – featuring music from his 30+ year theatrical career along with holiday classics to celebrate the most beautiful season of the year. Max has performed leading roles on stages across the country and has worked alongside Broadway’s greatest legends, including Tony Award-winners Chita Rivera, Stephen Sondheim, Maury Yeston, and Jonathan Tunick. Recent performances include title roles in PHANTOM, CHAPLIN – THE MUSICAL, JOSEPH…DREAMCOAT, PIRATES OF PENZANCE, GODSPELL, and THE MUSIC MAN. As a featured vocalist alongside many choirs and orchestras, Max is most familiar to the PCBC family as a soloist in SAVIOUR – A MODERN ORATORIO and Heather Sorenson’s REQUIEM mass. He holds a BA in Vocal Performance from Southern Methodist University and is a member of Actors’ Equity Association.
About Vonda K. Bowling
Max is joined by his accompanist and musical director, Vonda K. Bowling, an acclaimed music director, pianist, accompanist, conductor, voice teacher, and vocal coach in the DFW area. In her 15+ years of music directing, Vonda has been privileged to work with many Broadway/Off-Broadway music directors, conductors, directors, choreographers, and actors. For the last 18 years, she has led Dallas Young Artists, a popular musical theatre summer camp for ages 6-18. Vonda holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Shorter College in Rome, GA, and a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Tennessee.
