Capital Projects

Park Cities Baptist Church is embarking on capital projects including important facility additions and repairs to our church campus, ensuring safety for generations to come.

Campus Care

Improvements, additions, and repairs to our church campus are needed to enhance its functionality, accessibility, and safety — and to be good stewards of the property that God has blessed us with. The Campus Care Project includes improvements to restrooms, windows, elevators, HVAC, and more.

Fire Suppression Installation

We are in the midst of a vital project to install a state-of-the-art fire suppression system in our historic Sanctuary, ensuring full compliance with updated safety regulations from the City of University Park.

The urgency of this effort has been brought into sharp focus by the tragic fire at First Baptist Dallas in 2024 — a reminder of how critical it is to safeguard the places we hold most dear.

PCBC Columbarium & Memorial Garden

The PCBC Columbarium & Memorial Garden will provide an enduring and peaceful place of rest, prayer, and reflection for families of PCBC. The setting will include a gated entry, garden, fountain, and seating. Phase One will include the construction of 520 niches, with an additional 560 niches in Phase Two. Each niche holds two urns.

Historic Sanctuary Refresh

The purpose of our Sanctuary Refresh was to create architecturally sensitive updates that:

  • Addressed safety issues in the Sanctuary.
  • Allowed for a permanent stage that is safe for musicians to enter and exit.
  • Reconfigured the choir loft to achieve the best sound projection and allow for growth.
  • Upgraded the floor coverings for the Sanctuary main level.
  • Enhanced audio and visual support (sound, screens, lighting) for worship services and events.
