About Catherine:
Catherine was born and raised in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, a small town nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Catherine has always had a passion for the Word of God. She studied Religious Studies at North Carolina State University and Lees-McRae College.
She married her high school sweetheart, Caleb Rhoades, her junior year of college, just before he joined the Army. Due to Caleb’s Army deployment schedule, having children, and moving all over the United States, it would be many years before she would complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies online at Liberty University.
Catherine and Caleb moved to Texas to study at Dallas Theological Seminary. Caleb completed his ThM at DTS and is currently working towards his PhD in New Testament Studies. After being an Army wife and stay-at-home mom for many years, Catherine obtained her Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from DTS, and currently serves as the Executive Assistant to Dr. Jeff Warren at Park Cities Baptist Church.
The Rhoades have two beautiful daughters, Chastyn and Caydence, who are 12 and 10 years-old. Both Catherine and Caleb serve on staff at PCBC and love working together. When she is not working, Catherine loves to read, craft, and spend time with family. She is gifted at writing, teaching, singing, and administration, a skill set she says makes her uniquely gifted for serving in the local church, which is her passion.
