What holds the center of your life?
This message from Hebrews 1:1–4 explores the centrality and supremacy of Jesus. Through seven powerful declarations about who Christ is, we are reminded that he is not simply one part of our faith or one priority among many — he is the one through whom all things were created, the perfect revelation of God, the sustainer of all things, and the Savior who made purification for our sins.
Hebrews reminds us that while God spoke in many ways throughout history, he has spoken fully and definitively through his Son. If we want to know who God is and what he is like, we look to Jesus. He is God’s final Word and the one around whom every part of our lives is meant to revolve.
This message challenges us to consider what truly holds the center of our lives. In the midst of competing priorities, ambitions, relationships, and distractions, we are invited to place Christ at the center — allowing everything we believe, value, and pursue to be shaped by who he is.
