Enjoy lively conversation\, laughter\, and behind-the-scenes stories from award-winning Christian authors. Invite your book-loving friends and make it a morning to connect\, discover new stories\, and celebrate the joy of reading together. \nFeatured Authors & Books \nWe are honored to welcome: \n\nD’Ann Mateer — highlighting Playing by Heart \nBecky Wade — highlighting Memory Lane \nKaren Witemeyer — highlighting Taming Lady Temperance\n\nEach author will share about her featured book\, writing journey\, and the faith themes woven throughout her stories. \nThese books and others by our featured authors will be available for purchase on-site through Logos Bookstore\, making it easy to take home a new favorite (and perhaps get it signed!). If you would like to bring a dish to share for our potluck brunch\, indicate that during registration\, and you will receive a follow-up with the signup information. SUMMARY:Summer Reading Club – Illuminate Your Mind\, One Book at a Time
DESCRIPTION:Children are invited to experience the joy of reading this summer while earning fun prizes along the way. Participants will read — or be read to — throughout the summer and track their progress using a reading log. Prizes will be awarded as reading milestones are completed and logs are submitted to the library. \nThe Summer Reading Club is open to children from preschool through sixth grade. Participants may be current library patrons or new friends discovering the resources available in the PCBC Library. \nJoin us for the Summer Reading Club Kickoff Party on Sunday\, June 7\, from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Enjoy refreshments\, prizes\, and the opportunity to sign up and begin your reading adventure.
