What do you do when the unthinkable happens? Join us for a deeply meaningful book study based on โThrough the Eyes of a Lionโ by Pastor Levi Lusko. This powerful memoir shares his family’s personal story of grief after the sudden loss of their five-year-old daughter, Lenya, just five days before Christmas.
Whether you’re currently facing adversity or want to prepare yourself for inevitable hardship, this study will help you look at the circumstances of life through Jesus’ eyes. Together, we will explore how to find hope amid heartbreak, see life beyond what the eye can see, and let God use our pain for His glory. However, this study is not just about grief โ it’s about courage, resilience, and eternal perspective.
Led by Lisetta Layer, the group offers a compassionate space to process grief and grow in faith. While we live in a world filled with pain, suffering, and loss, our focus will be on the power of hope.
โThrough the Eyes of a Lionโ book study will help you turn your journey into a “roar story,” guiding you to:
- Let God turn your pain into a microphone.
- Look past what you can see with the naked eye.
- Understand how a good God can allow bad things.
- Survive Saturday โ the space between promise and fulfillment.
